After decades at the top, Gorillaz have just released their first album without errant bassist Murdoc. I mean, 2D. Really well, thanks. As they say, some people are born great, and some have greatness thrust inside them. And in its place we have our replacement bass player, Ace. My 2Disciples. I hear their call and I go to them, like Batman when he hears a scream for help. But what is the picture, you ask? Although both share themes of loneliness and isolation about a lone traveller drifting through the galaxy without a home.
Stuart Pot (2D)
He provides the lead vocals and plays the keyboard for the band. In , Kevin Bishop was cast as the new speaking voice of 2-D. The original surname of Stuart's father was Tusspot , but he legally changed it to Pot , shortly before Stuart was born. His father, David, works as a mechanic and as a fairgrounds worker, while his mother, Rachel, works as a nurse. When he was 11 years old, Stuart was involved in an accident where he fell from a tree and hit his head. This caused all his natural brown hair to shed, until it eventually grew back in a deep azure blue color.
Best known for his singing voice and terrifyingly attractive physical attributes, one would think he's the head-of-operations for this outfit. Sadly, there is nothing in that head to run the operations. He's the team's lead dimwit; as much of a clueless airhead as he is the band's personal Adonis.
His real name is Stuart Pot his last name was often thought to be Tusspot, though his father changed his name to "Pot" shortly before Stuart was born to avoid him from getting bullied at school , but is often shortened to Stu-Pot. Wilfred's School the same school that educated the members of The Cure. His father, David Tusspot, worked as a mechanic and owner of the Tusspot's Fairground. His mother, Rachel Tusspot, was a nurse who supplied Stuart with headache pills from his tree accident. While Stuart wasn't a very intelligent boy indeed, he was often described as "a bit thick" , he was known as a kind person and had a general love of music. His parents recall a little ten-year-old Stuart bouncing around in his room listening to The Clash, Augustus Pablo, The Human League his favorite band and many other musicians of the sort. He hit his head when falling from a tree at the age of eleven, causing all of his hair to fall out. When it came back it was a deep 'azure blue'. Murdoc's bumper crashed into Stuart's face  , landing him with an 8-ball fracture also known as 'hyphema', although he could still see through his injured eye. Murdoc was arrested and sentenced to carry out 30, hours 1, days of community service as well as care for the incapacitated Stuart for 10 hours every week.
